ATIA’s Beyond Borders series heads to Brisbane

The Australian Travel Industry Association (ATIA) is set to bring its Beyond Borders on the Road series to Brisbane on 20 May, following a successful event in Sydney. Tickets are now available, with members able to secure their spot for $55, whilst non-members will pay $110. This event is part of a national series leading up to ATIA's flagship Beyond Borders summit later this year.

The Brisbane programme promises to deliver key insights from ATIA's team, covering advocacy, industry news, and a unique compliance update. Attendees will also benefit from broader industry updates and networking opportunities. Highlights include an aviation panel addressing travel disruptions and global fuel supply concerns, as well as marketing tips from Chris Fundell and Nicole O’Sullivan on personal branding and consumer trust.

TravelPay will also present on the Reserve Bank of Australia surcharge changes, explaining their implications for ATIA members. Dean Long, CEO of ATIA, emphasised the event's value, stating, “Beyond Borders on the Road is where the industry comes together with real conversations, real insights, and the kind of networking that leads to genuine opportunities, partnerships and growth.”

The series will continue with events in Adelaide on 20 July and Perth on 22 July. Long added, “At $55 for members, this is a no-brainer. You won’t find another event that brings this level of insight, energy and connection into one room.”
