ATPCO has announced the appointment of Rosario Phillips as the new Chair of its Board of Directors, marking a significant step towards an AI-driven future for the airline industry. Phillips, who is currently Vice President of Passenger Solutions at LATAM Airlines Group, has over two decades of experience in leading digital transformation initiatives within the airline sector.

Phillips has been instrumental in driving LATAM's digital agenda, focusing on enhancing customer experience and commercial performance through data and technology. Her role at ATPCO will see her working closely with the company's new President and CEO, Brett Burgess, who joined earlier this year with a mandate to position ATPCO at the forefront of AI-powered airline retailing.

"The airline industry is undergoing one of the most exciting transformations in its history, and ATPCO is at the centre of it," Phillips stated. She expressed her enthusiasm for advancing the future of airline retailing and distribution alongside the ATPCO leadership team.

Burgess praised Phillips' appointment, highlighting her expertise in digital transformation and customer experience as vital for ATPCO's strategic direction. "Her strategic vision and understanding of both the commercial and technology dimensions of our industry are exactly what ATPCO needs," he said.

Phillips succeeds Karen Slinger, who has moved to a new role at British Airways. Additionally, ATPCO has welcomed Alison Short from Air Canada and Peter-Paul Vet from KLM to its Board, further strengthening its expertise in revenue management
