Aviator Airport Alliance has signed a four-year contract with Lufthansa Group to provide comprehensive ground handling services at Gothenburg-Landvetter Airport. The agreement, effective from 1 December 2026 to 30 November 2030, involves handling approximately 70 turnarounds per week for five Lufthansa Group carriers: Lufthansa Airlines, Lufthansa City Airlines, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, and Swiss International Air Lines.

The contract highlights Aviator's capabilities in managing full ground handling services, including essential de-icing and anti-icing operations crucial for maintaining punctuality during the harsh Nordic winters. Casper Olhoff Dons, Chief Commercial Officer at Aviator, remarked, “Being entrusted with the Lufthansa Group’s operations at Gothenburg is a strong endorsement of our teams and the standards we uphold across the Nordics.”

Demet Temur, Vice President Commercial Airport Agreements at Lufthansa Group, emphasised the importance of Gothenburg within their Northern European network, stating, “Customer-oriented and reliable ground handling is fundamental to the experience we offer our passengers. We are pleased to deepen our cooperation with Aviator.”

This agreement not only solidifies Aviator's presence at Gothenburg-Landvetter but also strengthens its position within the Swedish market, where it already serves a variety of international carriers.
