Bakuun, a Singapore-based travel technology company, has unveiled B-Portal, a white-label direct booking platform designed to simplify the booking and payment processes between hotels and their contracted offline travel agencies. Launched on 21 May 2026, B-Portal addresses the inefficiencies of current systems that rely on spreadsheets, PDFs, and email confirmations, which expose hotels to credit risks and require manual reconciliation by finance teams.

The new portal allows travel agencies to access a branded platform where they can check rates, availability, and complete bookings directly. Payments are processed through Bakuun's embedded bank-to-bank payment network, ensuring transactions are tied to contracted terms. This integration supports over 250 channel managers and accommodates more than 100 currencies, enhancing operational efficiency.

Marco Bacchilega, Founder and CEO of Bakuun, stated, "We started Bakuun to empower any travel business of any size with technology, to simplify distribution and remove blockers in cross-border operations, payments, and contracting. B-Portal is the most direct version of that thesis."

The introduction of B-Portal is expected to significantly reduce the time hotels spend on manual reporting and reconciliation, which, according to the State of Distribution Report 2025 by HEDNA, currently occupies up to two days a week for 80% of hotels. B-Portal is now available to hotels registered on Bakuun, promising to enhance their control over booking and payment infrastructures
