Banma Intelligence and Alipay have introduced an innovative AI cockpit solution at Auto China 2026, enabling drivers to make in-car purchases using voice commands. This industry-first integration of Alipay AI Pay allows users to complete transactions directly from their vehicles without needing a phone.
The AI cockpit solution focuses on entertainment and travel, allowing drivers to purchase tickets, book hotels, and order food with simple voice commands. For instance, drivers can say, “help me buy two movie tickets,” and the system will handle the selection and payment process through voice confirmation. Ming Cai, Chief Product Officer at Banma Intelligence, stated, “By integrating Alipay AI Pay into our AI cockpit solution, we are removing the last friction point in the in-car smart cockpit experience.”
Alipay’s robust security features, including multi-layered risk management and real-time anti-fraud measures, ensure secure transactions. The solution is set to be integrated into new vehicle models by major automotive original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the latter half of 2026.
Alipay AI Pay, launched in 2025, has rapidly gained traction, surpassing 100 million users by February 2026. It processed over 120 million transactions in a single week in February, highlighting its growing role in agentic commerce across China. The collaboration between Banma Intelligence and Alipay marks a significant step in enhancing the intelligent user experience in vehicles, aligning with the increasing focus on intelligence by major automakers
