The upcoming BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR in Singapore on 17 October 2026 is driving a significant increase in travel demand, according to Trip.com. The platform noted a 370% rise in searches for Singapore-related flights and hotels from 11 to 13 August, coinciding with the concert's ticket sales. This surge highlights the growing impact of live entertainment on tourism in Asia.

Flight bookings to Singapore over the concert weekend, from 16 to 19 October, have increased by 85% year-on-year, whilst hotel bookings have surged by 213%. Hotels within 3km of the National Stadium, the concert venue, saw a 238% rise in bookings, indicating high demand among concertgoers.

Edmund Ong, General Manager of Trip.com Singapore, commented, "Live entertainment continues to be a key driver of regional tourism, with travellers increasingly planning complete getaways around major events. The strong demand ahead of BIGBANG's Singapore concert shows how fans are willing to travel across borders for memorable experiences."

Mainland China, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Indonesia are the top source markets for inbound travellers during the concert weekend. Besides attending the concert, visitors are also booking popular attractions like Universal Studios Singapore, Singapore DUCKtours, and Adventure Cove Waterpark.

Trip.com's data reveals that more than half of hotel bookings for the concert weekend are priced below $220 (S$300) per night, and approximately 60% of travellers are opting for airfares under $295 (S$400), reflecting a preference for affordable travel options.
