Blenheim Palace is welcoming pets to its Formal Gardens, Great Court, and Walled Garden for the first time as part of the "Autumn Paws Outdoors" event. Running from 1 September to 4 October, this initiative allows pet owners to enjoy the historic grounds of the UNESCO World Heritage Site alongside their canine companions.

In a rare move, the palace's iconic Formal Gardens, typically off-limits to dogs, will be accessible to visitors with pets. Guests can stroll through the gardens, pause in the Great Court, wander the Water Terraces, or breathe in the fresh air of the Walled Garden. To ensure a comfortable visit, water stations will be available throughout the Courtyards and Walled Garden.

Whilst dogs are not allowed inside the Palace or the Adventure Play area, they are welcome in the Pantry Café, allowing owners to enjoy refreshments without leaving their pets behind. The event also serves as a prelude to DogFest, scheduled for 3–4 October in Blenheim Palace's Parkland.

Visitors are encouraged to share their experiences on social media using the hashtag #DogsofBlenheim, with standout photos being reshared by the Palace team. To maintain a pleasant environment, dog owners are asked to keep pets on short leads, clean up after them, and avoid leaving them unattended in vehicles.
