Boat Bike Tours unveils 2027 tulip tour in Holland

Boat Bike Tours will launch its new Heart of Tulips tour in spring 2027. The nine-day experience will take guests through the Netherlands' renowned tulip fields. Prices start at $3,399 (€3,199) per person, based on double occupancy.

The cycling and cruising tour starts and ends in Amsterdam. Guests will spend one night in an Amsterdam hotel before boarding the all-suite ship Magnifique X. The itinerary includes guided bike rides and van support.

The tour offers an immersive exploration of Holland's landscapes and cultural heritage. Daily bike rides will take guests through Europe's celebrated bulb-growing regions, charming villages and fortified towns. Highlights include the Zaanse Schans neighbourhood, Hortus Bulborum garden and the world-famous Keukenhof flower park. Guests will also visit the Alkmaar cheese market and Aalsmeer flower auction.

Laurens Winkel, CEO of Boat Bike Tours, highlighted the unique perspective the tour offers: “Travelling by bike and boat gives you an up-close view of the flowers, instead of from the window of a bus, and offers the comfort of a floating boutique hotel.”

The Heart of Tulips tour joins Boat Bike Tours' wider range of springtime tulip holidays. The company offers options for different travel styles. With more than 45 years of experience, it continues to combine relaxation and adventure while giving guests closer connections to local culture and scenic landscapes.
