Meet Boston has announced the return of the Boston Frostival, a citywide winter festival running from December 2026 through April 2027. The event will feature holiday drone shows over Boston Common, an expanded Frostival Lodge in Copley Square, and a 75-foot Ferris wheel on the Rose Kennedy Greenway.

The festival, now in its second year, aims to build on the success of its inaugural run. "Boston has so much going on during the winter months," said Martha Sheridan, President and CEO of Meet Boston. "We are creating a programme to tie it all together."

Key highlights include:

- **Holiday Drone Shows**: Taking place on Saturdays in December, these shows will feature two 15-minute aerial displays showcasing Boston landmarks and traditions, in partnership with Magic 106.7.

- **The Frostival Lodge**: Located in Copley Square and furnished by Wayfair, the lodge will offer a full bar, tea service, wine tastings, trivia, bingo, literary readings, and live sports broadcasts from January 22 to February 28, 2027.

- **Frostival Ferris Wheel**: Running from February 1 to April 25, 2027, this 75-foot Ferris wheel will provide panoramic views of Boston.

The festival will also include twinkling light displays, First Night Boston celebrations, winter art installations, and a variety of dining and nightlife events. Visitors can enjoy live games at TD Garden, theatre performances, and ice skating.
