Centrum Air has inaugurated a new direct flight service between Hyderabad and Tashkent, operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays. This marks the airline's second gateway in India, following its Delhi–Tashkent route. The inaugural flight took off on 28 September, celebrated with a launch ceremony at Hyderabad International Airport.
The new service aims to bolster tourism, business, trade, and cultural exchange between India and Uzbekistan. Passengers from Hyderabad and the broader South Indian region now have direct access to Uzbekistan, with the added benefit of connecting to Centrum Air's extensive network across Central Asia and beyond.
Adil Mirza, Head of Agents Division at Centrum Air, stated, “The launch of the Hyderabad–Tashkent route marks an important milestone in Centrum Air’s expansion in India. Hyderabad and the wider South Indian region represent an important market, and this direct service will provide travellers with convenient access to Uzbekistan whilst supporting greater tourism, trade and business opportunities between the two countries.”
Aeroprime Group, Centrum Air's Exclusive General Sales Agent in India, is instrumental in supporting the airline's market development. Abhishek Goyal, Executive Director and CEO of Aeroprime Group, expressed enthusiasm for the new route, noting its potential to enhance connectivity and opportunities for travellers and businesses alike.
The Hyderabad–Tashkent service complements Centrum Air's existing five weekly flights between New Delhi and Tashkent, further strengthening air links between the two nations. With a fleet of 16 modern Airbus aircraft, Centrum Air continues to expand its route network, offering reliable air transportation via its hubs in Uzbekistan
