Choice Hotels Canada reports record Q1 growth

Choice Hotels International Inc, a leading global lodging franchisor, has announced a remarkable first quarter for its Canadian operations, marking the strongest growth in over a decade. Following the company's acquisition last year and transition to a direct franchising model, the Canadian business has achieved a 34% year-on-year net room growth, the highest first-quarter hotel opening volume since 2010.

This growth was driven by improvements in both occupancy and average daily rate.
