Cloudbeds, a leading hospitality management system, has announced its integration with Muse, Meta's personal AI agent, to provide hoteliers with a direct route to travellers using AI for planning and booking stays. This integration will enable participating hotels to be discoverable through Muse with live rates and availability, allowing bookings to be completed directly through their own Cloudbeds Booking Engine.
The integration addresses the challenge hoteliers face in reaching guests without relying heavily on intermediaries, which often increases distribution costs. By connecting directly to AI-driven travel demand, hotels can protect their margins and increase direct reservations. Adam Harris, CEO of Cloudbeds, stated, “Every time travel discovery shifts – metasearch, mobile, now AI agents – the industry’s reflex is to let someone else own the guest and charge the hotelier for the privilege. We’re not doing that again.”
Muse, launched in September 2026, assists travellers in planning trips, comparing options, and completing bookings. Previously, hotel discovery through Muse relied on consumer travel websites. The new integration allows Muse to access hotels' live rates and availability directly, with reservations flowing into Cloudbeds' Property Management System as direct bookings. This setup enables hotel teams to capture demand without needing additional integrations or learning new systems.
The rollout of this integration is scheduled to begin in the United States in the first quarter of 2027, as part of Cloudbeds' Digital Marketing solutions. This development is expected to enhance the guest relationship and streamline the booking process for hoteliers.
