Set to launch in 2021, Blue World Voyages will provide guests with access to onboard sports and wellness facilities, along with an itinerary focused around staying active and exploring destinations beyond their port towns.

The vessel will be home to state-of-the-art facilities, including a functional training and strength conditioning centre, golf & football simulators, various fitness studios for classes such as yoga and spinning, and a sea-water lap pool enabling guests to do their laps right in the ocean.

Onshore, guests will be invited to try a range of activities, from sunset yoga in a Castellon monastery and rooftop climbing in St Petersburg, to Nordic walking in Helsinki and running in Riga. The inaugural voyage will travel around Europe before heading to South America for the winter season.

Nordic ports unite

Nordic ports unite

Ports of Stockholm has signed a declaration, together with nine other Nordic ports, to work together on the environmental challenges related to the UN sustainability goals.

The ports are important nodes for the transport of people and goods and have an essential role in global trade and the world economy. They therefore also have a decisive role in creating a sustainable future aligned with the Paris Agreement and the United Nation’s global Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

“A good initiative in the right direction”

“Stockholm has had ambitious environmental and sustainability goals for many years. This is a good initiative in the right direction. It is important to work together with many actors to solve common challenges,” said Joakim Larsson, vice mayor for City Planning.
