Crystal Ski Holidays adds Nassfeld resort in Austria for winter 2017/18

Nassfeld

Crystal Ski Holidays adds Nassfeld in Austria to the 2017-18 programme, bookable from today, 24 July 2017.

It is the largest resort in the southern Austrian region of Carinthia, on the Italian and Slovenian borders.

Nassfeld and Sonnleiten are mid-mountain lift bases, with accommodation, while there’s more down in the valley village of Tröpolach at the bottom of the access gondola. A two-stage gondola gives access to the Madritsche mid station at 1920m, with nursery slopes and amenities. Lifts serve slopes below Trogkofel and the higher peak of Gartnerkofel at 2195m.

In addition to the majority blue and red runs, there are some black pistes and access to ski routes.

Away from the mountain, there’s 80km worth of cross-country trails.

A week’s half board at the 3.5-star Hotel Franz Ferdinand costs from £545 per person (two sharing) including Easyjet flights from Gatwick to Klagenfurt departing 13 January 2018 and transfers.
