Crystal Ski Holidays prepares to take more people skiing in Norway

TUI Airwaysโ€™ first flight fromย London Gatwick to Osloย Gardermoenย departed on Sunday 17 December 2023, serving Crystalย Ski Holidays and TUI flight-only customers for the winter 2023-24 season, with the weekly service running until 25 February 2024.ย  An additional flight has been scheduled for 11 February 2024 to meet demand for customers travelling over the half-term period.

The new route will serve the resorts ofย Beitostรธlen,ย Kvitfjell, Norejfell and Geilo, all of which are perfectly suited to families as well as beginner and intermediate skiers, with lots of wide, quiet pistes and traditional log cabinsย packed with authentic charm. Whatโ€™s more, thereโ€™s plenty of activities to enjoy off the slopes, such as snowshoe walking and ice fishing.

Chris Logan, Managing Director at Crystal Ski Holidays, commented: โ€œWeโ€™re pleased to be offering this new route for this winter season to a destination we know our customers love. Weโ€™ve seen increased demand for the Scandinavian region and Norway has so much to offer guests. Providing skiers and snowboarders with more choice when it comes to booking their ski holiday is hugely important to us and we canโ€™t wait to welcome them back this season to create more special memories.โ€

Trevor de Villiers, at Norway Home of Skiing, said: โ€œWeโ€™re excited to welcome more visitors from the UK to enjoy the ski resorts on offer in Norway, thanks to the new flight that Crystal Ski Holidays will be offering. What makes a Norwegian ski holiday truly special is that visitors can combine their ski trip with an ultimate bucket-list holiday experience, such as skiing under the Northern Lights or enjoying a husky safari. We look forward to more British skiers enjoying the wealth of natural beauty and dramatic landscapes that Norway has to offer.โ€

Jennifer Newman, Airline Relations Manager, London Gatwickย said: "We are delighted that TUI has introduced this new route to cater for their ski and winter holiday customer base from London Gatwick. This investment represents TUIโ€™s confidence in the airport and their commitment to providing even more choice for passengers.โ€
