Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of a 50-key Cozzet hotel in Ringas, near Khatu Shyam in Rajasthan, as part of its strategy to expand its premium economy portfolio in high-growth pilgrimage and regional travel markets. The new hotel aims to cater to the increasing number of visitors to Khatu Shyam, one of Rajasthan's largest pilgrimage destinations, which saw approximately 2.54 crore devotees in 2025.
Situated about 18 km from the Khatu Shyam Ji Temple, the hotel will serve pilgrims, families, leisure guests, and transit travellers. Its strategic location, just 100 metres from Ringas railway station and accessible from NH-52, ensures convenient connectivity. The Cozzet Khatu Shyam, a brownfield project, is expected to open by mid-2027.
The property will feature 50 contemporary rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a health club, and a swimming pool. Additionally, it will offer a 2,500 sq. ft. banquet venue, accommodating up to 200 guests, to cater to the region's social and events market.
Sarbendra Sarkar, Founder and Managing Director of Cygnett Hotels & Resorts, highlighted the significance of pilgrimage travel in driving hospitality demand across India. "Destinations receiving millions of visitors annually require not just additional room inventory, but dependable branded accommodation with consistent service standards," he stated.
Cozzet by Cygnett, the flagship premium economy brand, is expanding amidst a projected growth of India's micro and mid-scale hospitality market to $7.60 billion by 2031. With a development pipeline of approximately 600 keys, Cygnett plans to extend Cozzet's presence across various strategic locations in India
