Discova grows sales team in US to support agent network

Global destination management company Discova has appointed Nicholas “Nico” Mendenhall as Trade Sales Executive. Nico began a career in the hospitality and tourism sector, now spanning 15 years.

During this time, he has gained experience working as a Sales and Events Coordinator for the Hyatt Hotel Group and as a Travel Consultant for both Flight Centre and Liberty Travel, working up to managerial positions. Nico even owned his own travel company, Niji Travel.

Throughout, Nico has demonstrated an insatiable curiosity to learn, make new connections, and drive new business forward. A skilled communicator, Nico specialises in bringing travel professionals together and building relationships.

Sharing his excitement at the prospect of joining Discova, he said: “Discova is a world-leading DMC with ambitious plans for growth in the Americas. I join a team that has made huge progress with their expansion into new markets, and I can’t wait to get involved, bring my expertise, and contribute to Discova’s success story.”
