The Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group) has announced a collaboration with Marriott International to introduce the W Hotels brand to Delhi NCR. This new luxury hotel, featuring 200 rooms, is set to open in the second half of 2027 near Indira Gandhi International Airport, with an investment of $48 million (Rs. 400 crore). The hotel will be strategically located in Aerocity, a bustling hospitality hub catering to both business and leisure travellers.
Marking the debut of W Hotels in Delhi NCR and the second in India after Goa, this project aims to offer a unique lifestyle experience in a market traditionally dominated by legacy luxury formats. The hotel will embody W Hotels' global identity, combining detail-driven design, anticipatory service, and dynamic programming. Rajiv Kumar, Vice Chairman of DS Group, highlighted the significance of this launch, stating, “The Indian hospitality sector is currently witnessing an unprecedented growth trajectory, fuelled by a robust surge in domestic travel and a significant demand-supply mismatch in the premium segment.”
Nathan Andrews, Business Head of Hospitality at DS Group, emphasised the strategic importance of the location, noting, “The Aerocity area continues to demonstrate exceptional demand and RevPAR growth, making it the ideal location for a globally recognised brand.”
Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President of South Asia at Marriott International, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are delighted to collaborate with the Dharampal Satyapal Group, whose legacy of excellence and forward-looking approach to premium, experience-led hospitality aligns seamlessly with Marriott International’s commitment.”
DS Group plans to expand its hospitality footprint with a target of 10–12 hotels by FY29, reinforcing its commitment to delivering premium, experience-led hospitality
