Eurostar sees 11% rise in Disneyland Paris travellers

Eurostar has reported an 11% increase in passengers travelling from the Netherlands to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy, the gateway to Disneyland Paris, since the opening of Disney Adventure World on 29 March 2026. This surge follows an expansion in capacity on the direct high-speed train route, enhancing its appeal to families and leisure travellers.

To celebrate the growing popularity of train travel to Disneyland Paris and the launch of Disney Adventure World, Eurostar is operating a specially branded train featuring Disney characters like Elsa, Iron Man, and Buzz Lightyear until the end of 2026. The inaugural journey included a special event with breakfast, entertainment, and surprises for guests.

The train, which runs between the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and Germany, is part of a broader media campaign to highlight the collaboration. François Le Doze, Eurostar's Chief Commercial Officer, remarked, “The growth on this route shows that travellers increasingly choose a comfortable and sustainable way to reach Disneyland Paris.”

The direct journey from Amsterdam, Schiphol, and Rotterdam to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy takes approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes, operating from Friday to Sunday. Families benefit from amenities such as free wifi, a Eurostar Café, and flexible baggage policies. The number of family bookings has risen by 10%.

Disney Adventure World, formerly Walt Disney Studios Park, has undergone a significant transformation, adding new shows and attractions. This development further enhances Disneyland Paris's appeal as a premier European tourist destination.
