To show appreciation for Singapore healthcare professionals playing an invaluable role in the fight against COVID-19, Expedia Group brands Hotels.com and Expedia are teaming up with hotel partners to provide rooms at substantially discounted rates for healthcare professionals to self-isolate, rest, and recuperate.
This is part of the new Singapore Healthcare Heroes programme, introduced by Expedia Group, which offers special rate plans through participating hotel partners exclusively for healthcare professionals and will be available for booking starting 10 April. About 14 properties have joined in to support and assist healthcare professionals with their temporary accommodation needs.
Ang Choo Pin, senior director for government and corporate affairs in Asia at Expedia Group said: “The programme reflects our ongoing commitment towards supporting our hotel industry partners while supporting the frontline healthcare professionals battling against COVID-19.”
It extends to all COVID-19 facing healthcare professionals who are employees of hospitals, clinics, home care facilities, emergency medical services and ambulance services, as well as the Ministry of Health.
