Explora Journeys has announced two new Journey Collections for the Northern Winter 2027-2028 season, offering travellers a choice between South America's vibrant landscapes aboard EXPLORA I and the serene Mediterranean and Atlantic Islands on EXPLORA V. These new itineraries replace the previously planned Middle East and Red Sea sailings.
EXPLORA I will navigate South America from December 2027 to March 2028, visiting 37 destinations, including 20 maiden ports. The journey highlights the continent's contrasts, from Brazil's lively culture to Patagonia's breathtaking wilderness. Guests will enjoy festive celebrations like Christmas at sea and New Year’s Eve on the Brazilian coast, with overnight stays in Buenos Aires, Puerto Madryn, and Rio de Janeiro.
EXPLORA V's inaugural season, from December 2027 to April 2028, will explore the Mediterranean and North Africa before venturing into the Atlantic Islands. This itinerary offers a quieter experience, revealing the regions' true characters through softer light and gentle warmth. Highlights include maiden calls to Crotone, late departures in cities like Salerno and Ibiza, and overnight stays in Casablanca and Lisbon.
