About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity of a MICE & Group Travel Consultant position has arisen in our Singapore office. At FCM, we have worked hard to earn our position as a globally recognized and award-winning corporate travel company. Our wide portfolio of clients includes global brand names, blue-chip corporates and medium size businesses. We boast some of the largest and most glamorous corporate events in the market.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you are the expert who will assist our clients with business travel arrangements for groups & events, conferences and incentive travel including air, car, hotel, and ground transportation reservations by suggesting the best solutions to them.
Your key responsibilities include:
Follow company procedures, account guidelines and customer service standards in the areas of: making travel arrangements, building Passenger Name Records (PNR’s) and profiles, ticketing, tickets exchanges/changes, booking hotels and cars in GDS.
Able to relate to clients at various levels within their organizations using diplomacy and tact
You will need to bring in prior experience in Corporate operations environment, with experience in ticketing, scripting, changes and exchanges to complex multi-segment international fares and Passenger Name Records (PNR’s).
Experience in using Global Distribution System, preferably Amadeus
Demonstrating a strong curiosity in keeping yourself updated with travel destinations, strong communication skill, possess excellent geography and GDS knowledge are second nature to you. This will empower you to provide our clients with a world class customer service experience.
 Key Competencies:
5 years of experience in managing small to large scale MICE & group bookings, responsible end to end logistics needs of clients
Ability to multi-task and work with timeline
An experienced leader with the ability to understand each team members’ skills and maximize their potential and productivity.
Experience in using a Global Distribution System (GDS) will be an added advantage but not essential
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to network at all levels 
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to articulate knowledge about products, services and value proposition to customers
Demonstrates personal excellence by showing personal determination and resilience and is optimistic in changing circumstances
