Job Description

OYO is a technology-led business that is transforming the hospitality industry. The Part Time Business Development Manager (“PT BD”) is an outside sales position. The primary duties are making sales and obtaining orders for OYO’s proprietary suite of services. This work is performed customarily and regularly in the field, including at hotel properties. While the PT BD is responsible for managing their own time, the maximum hours permitted to be worked is 25 hours per week.

Essential Functions:

  • Travel within sales territory to hotel properties to meet with property owners, solicit sales and obtain orders for OYO’s proprietary suite of services

  • Identifying new hotel and hospitality leads through research and relationships, and updating internal software to add quality supply to the pipeline

  • Discuss OYO’s value proposition and services with hotel owners 

  • Negotiate deals to close consistent with OYO guidelines

  • With OYO approval, sign the contract to solidify a business relationship between your original prospect and OYO

  • Confirm that the terms of the contract are aligned with both the owner and OYO’s systems
