Our CRM team is in the early stages of an exciting “greenfield” project that will transform our global Salesforce instance of over 2000+ users, rebuilding from the ground up, focusing on simplification and keeping the customer at the centre of our vision. We are building up our permanent agile team to help us bring Salesforce to more and more divisions within our corporate travel businesses.
Flight Centre Travel Group’s global CRM team is responsible for delivering technology solutions that create efficiency and enhanced effectiveness for both our people and our corporate customers. With salesforce.com at the heart of these solutions, our Quality Assurance Engineer plays a key role in managing and evolving our world class CRM technology platform.
As the Quality Assurance Engineer, you will own will develop and own our “org’s” testing strategy. You will be an integral member of the agile delivery team by developing automation frameworks, conducting testing and ensuring a defect free Salesforce platform.
What you will be doing:
Convert definitions into user stories for test criteria
Coordinate testing scripts and automated regression testing
Design, create and manage automation test frameworks and architecture, develop repeatable testing and application performance automation
Work with business analysts, delivery team members, to refine acceptance testing methods and integrate test scripts
Review requirements and designs, create and manage test plans and test data
Execute both automated and manual test scripts as required, and analyse test results
Collaborate with delivery teams to undertake application testing, such as integration, regression and acceptance testing methods
Create test schedules and broader application testing strategies
Perform manual testing as required
Manage the UAT process
About you:
In-depth knowledge of testing concepts and functionality as well as a thorough understanding of automation framework design and scripts creation
Minimum 5 years of software automation testing, test design and test development experience
Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing several test automation solutions leveraging Restful APIs, Selenium, SoapUI, Postman
Strong understanding of Object-oriented programming
Experience with automated web service / API testing
Experience with Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD)
Knowledge of Visual Studio Code, Git/Bitbucket, Source Control and DevOps practices; Jira, Confluence and test management tools
Exposure to AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure technologies
Ability to prioritise effectively and escalate issues as required
Experience working in Agile development teams using SCRUM
Experience in converting the definition done within the user stories to create testing criteria
