TDM AWARDS - NOMINATE NOW!

Extreme Bike Tours, a leading motorcycle tour company, has announced it will double its offerings in Sri Lanka, scheduling 14 departure dates in 2027.

This expansion comes as a response to the growing popularity of the island's year-round favourable weather, cultural richness, and quality infrastructure. The tours, which were previously offered seven times in 2025, provide a unique way to explore Sri Lanka's diverse landscapes on a classic Royal Enfield motorcycle.

Sri Lanka, known as the 'Pearl of the Indian Ocean', offers a vibrant mix of beaches, tea plantations, ancient ruins, and wildlife. Extreme Bike Tours provides three distinct 12-night tours: 'Hidden Sri Lanka', 'Hidden Sri Lanka in Luxury', and 'Ancient Kingdoms and the North'. The luxury tour, a favourite among riders, includes stays in high-end hotels and visits to Yala National Park, renowned for its wildlife.

Founded in 2010, Extreme Bike Tours operates in 12 countries across Asia, Africa, and Europe, with Australians making up 70% of its clientele. The tours cater to licenced riders and pillion passengers, offering comprehensive packages that include fuel, mechanical support, meals, and accommodation.

Bookings made by 31 August 2026 will benefit from a 10% discount, with prices for the luxury tour starting at $5,355 (US$5,355) per person. Travel agents can earn a 10% commission on bookings. Tours are subject to availability, and international flights are not included
