Finnair has announced a significant agreement with Embraer for up to 46 E195-E2 aircraft, including 18 firm orders, 16 options, and 12 purchase rights. Embraer President and CEO Arjan Meijer expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, noting that the E195-E2 offers "lower fuel burn, lower CO₂, and superior economics." Deliveries of the 134-seat aircraft are scheduled to begin in the second half of 2027, with the order being added to Embraer's Q1 2026 backlog.
