Flyadeal, Saudi Arabia's rapidly growing low-cost airline, is set to launch scheduled flights between Jeddah and Dubai, whilst also reinstating its Riyadh-Dubai services from 15 April 2026. This expansion aims to bolster connectivity between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, with the Jeddah route marking a significant step in Flyadeal's presence in Dubai.
Initially, the Jeddah-Dubai service will operate three times a week, offering enhanced travel options for both business and leisure travellers. Jeddah, a major commercial hub and Saudi Arabia's second-largest city, serves as a key entry point for religious tourism, with many pilgrims transiting through to Madinah and Makkah.
Lloyd Misquitta, Flyadeal's Acting Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the importance of Dubai as a destination: "Dubai remains one of the most popular destinations for our customers, hence we are pleased to provide additional travel options by introducing our first direct service from Jeddah, and bringing our Riyadh to Dubai flights back up to a regular operation from this week."
Flyadeal's strategic focus on expanding its international footprint is evident in this move, with tickets now available through the airline's mobile app, website, and travel agents. The airline, which operates a fleet of 46 Airbus A320 aircraft, plans to more than double its network and fleet by 2030, aligning with Saudi Vision 2030
