Dubai-based airline flydubai is set to introduce a second daily flight to Bangkok from 18 July, responding to strong demand for its recently launched service to Thailand's capital.

This move follows the commencement of daily flights to Don Mueang International Airport on 1 July, enhancing connectivity during the bustling summer travel season.

The addition of the second daily service means flydubai will operate up to 21 weekly flights to Thailand, including increased services to Krabi. Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at flydubai, stated, “Just weeks after welcoming Bangkok as our latest destination, we are pleased to build on the strong demand for this route by introducing a second daily flight from Dubai.”

The expanded service is part of flydubai's strategy to strengthen its presence in Thailand and support Dubai's status as a major international aviation hub. The new flights will operate from Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport to Don Mueang International Airport, offering passengers more flexibility and travel options.

In addition to the Bangkok expansion, flydubai has recently launched flights to Benghazi in Libya and plans to start services to Aleppo in Syria on 20 July and Pokhara in Nepal on 23 September. Passengers flying with flydubai can enjoy upgraded cabin interiors, including lie-flat seats in Business Class and ergonomically designed seats in Economy Class, along with a variety of meals and inflight entertainment.

The new service is part of a codeshare partnership with Emirates, allowing passengers to benefit from seamless itineraries and access to a combined network of over 240 destinations worldwide
