The Marmara BodrumGlobal Hotel Alliance (GHA) has announced the addition of two new regional hospitality brands, The Marmara Hotels from Turkey and PURO Hotels from Poland, to its portfolio.
This expansion will see 15 hotels integrated into the GHA DISCOVERY loyalty programme, enhancing its offerings for international travellers.
The Marmara Hotels, with six properties across Turkey, are already part of the programme. PURO Hotels, which boasts a nine-property portfolio, is set to join in the third quarter of 2026.
GHA CEO Chris Hartley highlighted the significance of this expansion, stating, "Independent hotel brands are increasingly looking for ways to reach more international travellers whilst staying true to their local identity."
The Marmara Hotels, rooted in Istanbul, offer a blend of contemporary comfort and Turkish heritage. Their properties, located in iconic areas such as Taksim Square and Pera, reflect the character of their destinations. Notable sites include the Esma Sultan Palace and the Zeyrek Çinili Hamam.
PURO Hotels, known for their design-led urban spaces, operate in major Polish cities like Warsaw and Kraków. These hotels combine high-quality design with local culture, serving as social hubs for both locals and travellers. PURO plans to expand beyond Poland, with new hotels in Budapest and Prague slated for 2026 and 2027.
