Green GSM has officially launched its all-electric taxi service in Northern Mindanao, Philippines, marking a significant expansion for the brand. This initiative introduces the region's first all-electric taxi service, offering modern, safe, and comfortable transportation at competitive prices. The service aims to improve daily travel experiences for local residents whilst promoting environmentally friendly choices.

Residents in key areas such as El Salvador, Cagayan de Oro (CDO), Laguindingan, Alubijid, and Opol can now access Green GSM's services through the company's app, customer service hotline, or by hailing a vehicle on the street. The service caters to various mobility needs, including daily commutes, intercity journeys, and airport transfers.

Green GSM's fleet, powered entirely by VinFast electric vehicles, provides a quiet and emission-free ride. The company emphasises its commitment to sustainability through its "5 Green Promises": Good Cars, Good Drivers, Good Prices, Good Experiences, and Good for the Environment. These promises aim to set a new standard for local mobility services.

The launch follows a successful trial period that began in late August. Green GSM has previously introduced electric taxi services in other parts of the Philippines, including Metro Manila, Central Visayas, and Mindanao. Global CEO Pham Nhat Minh Hoang stated, "Expanding into Northern Mindanao enables Green GSM to increase our service coverage in a region with strong potential whilst giving more residents access to electric mobility with consistent service quality and reasonable costs."

New users registering with Green GSM will receive 15 Green Points, equivalent to 15 pesos, which can be used for ride discounts. The introduction of this service is expected to enhance regional connectivity, create employment opportunities for drivers, and offer passengers a safe, modern, and cost-effective mobility option
