Located along the Mae Kok River, the 167-room hotel is inspired by Northern Thai merchant houses, featuring art from local artists and a design that reflects the region's rich heritage. The hotel offers three dining venues, including Larderley, which serves Thai, Asian, and international dishes, and Tasabiang, which focuses on refined Northern Thai cuisine. The Ledger bar provides a selection of crafted cocktails and small plates.

Kahavadi Chiang Rai also boasts an eForea spa, offering traditional Tok Sen treatments, and 1,980 square metres of event space, including a riverside lawn and ballroom. Alexandra Murray, Hilton's area vice president for South East Asia, stated, “The opening of Kahavadi Chiang Rai marks our first presence in the city and underscores our confidence in Northern Thailand’s long-term appeal.” The hotel is part of Hilton Honors, allowing guests to enjoy the benefits of Hilton's loyalty programme
