The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India's largest hospitality company, has announced the opening of a new Ginger branded hotel in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. This greenfield project marks IHCL's entry into the city, which is rapidly becoming a key economic hub in South India due to its strong industrial base and new investments.
The 100-key Ginger Tuticorin is strategically situated along the Tirunelveli-Tuticorin highway, providing easy access to the city's industrial and commercial centres. The hotel will feature Gingerโs signature Qmin restaurant, a lively bar, versatile meeting spaces, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President โ Real Estate & Development at IHCL, stated, โThe growth of mega projects in the automobile and energy sectors has created significant long-stay demand, making it an ideal market for Gingerโs presence.โ
