Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced an upcoming project of a 371-room flagship Ginger near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport Mumbai. This will be one of the largest inventory hotels in its category.

“The hotel will be the brand’s flagship property in India. Centrally located between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of the Mumbai Airport, it will feature our new ‘lean luxe’ design philosophy of seamlessness, and also cater to the micro market demand in and around the airport, North Mumbai and Bandra Kurla Complex,” Puneet Chhatwal, managing director and chief executive officer of IHCL said.

The modern design hotel will feature 371 rooms, the brand’s signature all day diner ‘Café et cetera’, a bar, fitness centre and a large meeting and function space. The hotel is expected to commence operations from April 2022. With this hotel, IHCL will have eleven hotels in the city of Mumbai.
