IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the upcoming debut of Kimpton Suntaya Bali Ubud, marking the luxury lifestyle brand's first venture into Indonesia. Scheduled to open later this year, the hotel is situated in the heart of Ubud, a short distance from iconic landmarks such as the Ubud Art Market and Ubud Palace. The hotel aims to reflect Bali's vibrant creative energy through its design and hospitality.

Kimpton Suntaya Bali Ubud will feature 101 accommodations, including essential rooms, pool suites, and private pool villas. Guests can enjoy signature Kimpton perks such as the "Forgot It, We've Got It!" programme, daily coffee and pastries through Kimpton Kickstart, and evening gatherings at Kimpton Social. General Manager Austin Jones, who has extensive experience with the Kimpton brand, expressed his excitement about introducing Kimpton to Indonesia, stating, "We want this hotel to become a vibrant gathering place where guests and locals alike can experience Bali in a way that feels effortless, personal, and unscripted."

The hotel's culinary offerings include five dining destinations, highlighted by Imamura Ubud, an omakase experience led by Michelin-starred Chef Hirofumi Imamura. Additionally, the hotel will provide wellness programmes, including a fitness studio and Sakshi Spa, which incorporates Balinese healing traditions.

Designed by Denton Corker Marshall, the hotel's architecture is inspired by Balinese ceremonial processions, creating a harmonious blend of calm and energy. The name "Suntaya" reflects this balance, drawing from Sanskrit roots meaning stillness and vitality
