Account Manager required by an international airline. Around 25-30K, depending upon experience This is an office-based B2B role focussed on the optimisation of partnerships with Travel Agencies, Tour Operators, TMC’s and OTA’s.

Account Manager Responsibilities:

• Be the ambassador of the airlines’ new alternative distribution capability which compliments current GDS. Roll it out with all business partners, supporting with implementation, onboarding and accompanying Agency Account Managers in presentations
• Work collaboratively with Agency Account Managers on the administrative side of agency relationships such as reporting and monitoring performance and feedback
• Co-ordination of partner meetings and presentations
• Take full responsibility for smaller partners such as smaller tour ops and cruise companies, fare consolidators and TMC’s
• Gain a through understanding of the needs of the airlines business partners in order to maintain a mutually beneficial relationship
• Keep up to date with fares, products, flight schedules, etc
• Routinely touch base with all partners
• Work collaboratively with partners and other stakeholders within airline on Joint marketing campaigns and other combined initiatives
• Identify new sales opportunities
• Represent the airline at industry events and familiarisation trips

Account Manager Experience required:

• Airline or travel industry experience
• Thorough understanding of Airline:Business Partner commercial relationships
• Strong understanding of Air Operations/Fares/systems
• Proficiency with systems such as Sales Force and GDS such as Amadeus
• Highly personable as this role is focussed on building business relationships
• Commercial and analytical mind-set
• Meticulous
