Job Description

French or Flemish Business Development Executive: Apply for this very exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s Largest Inbound Travel Tour Operators in their London office. Due to further expansion this well-established company are looking for someone with experience in inbound tourism, in either reservations, events or operations.
They are looking for a French and a Flemish speaker to join their exciting team. I am looking for someone with a good knowledge of the UK-Wide Tourism Industry. Paying up to £24k based on experience.

French or Flemish Business Development Duties:
* Acknowledge all new requests with a telephone call within 2 hours of receipt
* Ensure that all new requests are qualified
* Produce good quality quotations using the E-voyages standard format and within deadlines
* Follow up all quotations consistently to maximise conversion rates
* Always maintain good and up to date product knowledge
* Update log with confirmations and lost business (with clear explanation for rejection).
* Answer any correspondence on day of receipt if received by 12h00, or by 12h00 next working day if received after 12h00
* Make service reservations as per the client’s requirements in accordance to their deadlines and to deal with their queries in a timely manner
* Always maintain close communication with the relevant clients on progress of the bookings
* Be aware of any special offers / deals which can be sent to the clients to generate additional business
* Respond to complaints within 2 working days and ensure it is fully resolved within 1 week
* Resolve problems on same day whilst groups are traveling
* Reconfirm in writing what has been agreed verbally
* Meet key clients as often as possible
* Ensure that we achieve the correct margin for each client
* Always keep Tourplan accurate and up to date
* Participate in training programmes put in place for staff members
* Adopt a filing system which enables colleague to cover in your absence

French or Flemish Business Development Executive Requirements:
* Experience in the Travel Industry, Business Development and/ or Customer Service or a degree in Tourism Management or similar Skillset and Personal
* Fluency in English
* Fluency in French or Flemish
* Fluency in Italian or German appreciated
* A positive attitude with drive and a work ethic to meet targets
* Detail-orientated
* Creative and able to ‘think outside the box’
* Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication /relationship-building and analytical skills * Excellent time-management
* Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
* Ability to work independently and self-directed
