JOB DESCRIPTIONS
The Content Officer’s primary responsibility is to ensure all written English content for Easia Travel (leisure, and sub-brands) is flawless, on-brand (following corporate guidelines) and enhances the sales potential of the company and/or associated products in the relevant target market.
Working directly with the brand managers, the Content Officer may be involved in the creative process from inception to delivery, or simply as a proof-reader/copy editor supporting the work of other members of the marketing team. The role also includes proof-reading and editing of the company’s product fact sheets, training materials and other collateral as required.
A secondary responsibility is to manage the social media accounts & profiles of the brands, posting content as required according to the schedules developed in coordination with the brand managers.
** Daily Tasks :
• Proofreading of written content created by non-native English speakers
• Copy edit description texts of activities to make them brand specific
• Complete and/or edit content to demand in a timely manner appropriate for each target market
• Understand (and support the development of) each brand’s needs and requirements, and strictly follow / uphold brand style guidelines in line with target audience
– Ensure the social media platforms are well maintained in accordance with the brand guidelines under supervision of the brand managers
– Coordinate with brand managers to create effective, forward-thinking social media posts that contribute towards the brand’s objectives
– Facilitate paid advertising as per the marketing strategy
– Perform regular audits and reports of social media analytics
– Create effective profiles for each brand & platform
– Support the creation of video subtitles for the Media Team
– Monitor competition and industrial news and make appropriate postings to the required platforms
JOB REQUIREMENTS
– Nationality: Native English Speaker preferred
– University: BA or MBA in English Language studies, Business, Communication, Hotel & Tourism Management or other related majors,
– Experience in general marketing, communication and online marketing
– Skills:
+ Exceptional Excellent writing & communication skills
+ Strong sense of organization & deadline meeting
+ Good self-discipline and able to work autonomously without close supervision
+ Ability to prioritize work
+ Adaptable, with good problem-solving skills
+ Understanding of basic SEO, best-practice and analytics a bonus
