Finance Manager- Chester/Hybrid – Travel Industry. An excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join an established and reputable travel company in the Chester area. You will work closely with the Finance Director and wider finance team.
Finance Manager Responsibilities
You will be responsible for preparing monthly P&L accounts and other month end tasks such as sales bonus calculations, balance sheet reconciliations debtors reporting and accruals. You will ensure compliance with ATOL/ABTA/CAA requirements, preparation of balance sheets and cash flow forecasts. You will create the VAT submissions, set up accruals/payments, undertake financial analysis for management reporting, provide leadership to other members of the finance team and support with business decision making.
Finance Manager Skills / Experience Required
- CIMA/ACCA Accountancy qualifications
- Experience in the travel industry with knowledge of ABTA and ATOL requirements highly desirable but other similar industry experience will also be considered.
- Dynamic team player who enjoys both the hands on and strategic aspects of management accounting
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient knowledge in MS Office applications including excel
- Commercially astute
Finance Manager Additional Details
A salary between £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience.
During the first couple of months the role will mainly be office based whilst getting up to sped after which it can transition to hybrid including 3 days in and 2 days remote.
