Finance Manager – Chester. An excellent opportunity to join a well established and highly reputable business in the luxury travel and hospitality sector sector.

Finance Manager Responsibilities

Reporting to the Financial Controller in this mid size business, you will be responsible for overseeing 2 other team members and be part of a finance team of 6. You will be responsible for ensuring appropriate financial controls are in place, the preparation of monthly management accounts including p&l, balance sheet and cash flow forecasts. You will oversee and report on financial risk management and produce MI reports. You will also be responsible for the year end audit process, preparing budgets and submitting regulatory reporting requirements.

Finance Manager Skills Required

• Experience working at a finance manager, financial controller or senior management accountant level, preferably in the travel or leisure sectors but other industry experience will also be considered.
• Cash-flow management experience
• Experience of internal or external auditing
• Must be fully qualified (CIMA or ACCA)
• Strong commercial acumen

Finance Manager Package

A very competitive basic salary to be discussed on application, 25 days holiday + bank holidays. Monday-Friday, 9am-5.30pm.
Our client are currently operating a part office (Chester) and part remote working but it is likely to office working requirements will increase in time so you will need to be in a commutable distance to Chester.
