Group Travel Consultant, Homebased: This prestige business travel company are recruiting in their Event Travel Management team for an experienced Group Travel Consultant who’s experienced with a GDS, making large group bookings and fares and ticketing. Paying up to £30K.

Group Travel Consultant, Responsibilities:
– Create group and individual reservations and accurately input data
– Negotiate best fares with suppliers as well as flexible terms and conditions
– Responsible for controlling budgeted costs
– Main point of contact for both internal and external clients and suppliers

Group Travel Consultant, Skills Required:
– Proven experience in the travel industry, specifically booking and ticketing group travel
– GDS experience
– Excellent fare and ticketing knowledge including Published, Net, Group and consolidator fare types
– Knowledge and experience of the air/travel industry and key contacts

Additional Information:
– Homebased
– 12 month fixed term contract
– Paying up to £30K
– Working Mon – Fri hours within 08.30 – 18.00
