Head of Direct Sales – Leisure Travel – North Shropshire. A fantastic and unique opportunity to join an already established travel business looking to diversify by creating a direct sales channel via the creation of a sales / call centre operation and driving inbound leads/business via the website, social media and other marketing initiatives.

Head of Direct Sales Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the company directors, you will be responsible for creating and delivering the overall business strategy of scaling up the call centre operations which is currently in it’s infancy stage, ensuring they have the right infrastructure, technology and team to deliver business objectives. You will also work closely with the product, marketing and external website management teams to ensure there is the right product offering and that it is generating sufficient leads and inbound business to meet sales objectives from the call centre.

Head of Direct Sales skills required

• Previous B2C sales experience gained in the travel industry, with at least 3-5 years at a middle-senior management level.
• Experience leading call centre operations
• Strong people management skills
• Good knowledge of marketing practices and lead generation
• An ambitious self-starter with the drive and enthusiasm to build something from the ground up with support and resources required

Head of Direct Sales Additional Information

As this is a newly created role, the salary will be competitive and subject to experience, to be discussed/negotiated with the company director
Excellent incentives and bonus potential will also be linked to the performance of this individual
The role will be office based in North Shropshire, which is accessible from Chester, Crewe, Market Drayton, Telford and Shrewsbury areas
