Head of Events. £70-80k + Bonus. London and Hybrid with Travel. A fantastic opportunity to take up this senior leadership role within a highly successful and well-known Events Agency. This is a key client facing and team management role leading the creative production and event management to ensure the seamless delivery of events.

Head of Events Responsibilities

• Leading a dispersed team of around 45 people through three direct reports
• Team development, identifying any training or skills gaps and ensuring everyone is performing to the best of their abilities
• Be the lead point of contact for event logistics and delivery
• P&L ownership and project resourcing
• Have a physical presence at live events across the UK and internationally, as well as the head office (control centre) in London
• Support with the production of events, ensuring the quality of events are delivered on time and budget
• Travelling with the team to key events

Head of Events Skills Required

• A wide operational and strategic background in the meetings and events sector
• Previous experience working in an events agency
• Resilient, determined and positive characteristics
• An inspirational people manager who cares about their teams and bringing out the best in them
• Experience managing event budgets and schedules
• Knowledge of virtual and live events
• Flexible to travel internationally (approximately twice a month) and around the UK

Head of Events Additional Details

A basic salary in the region of £70,000 – £80,000 per annum depending on experience

£300 a month car allowance, Bonus up to 8%, life assurance, private medical, income protection, personal accident cover, pension plus a range of voluntary benefits.
