Head of Finance, Travel Industry, Fully Remote. A fantastic opportunity to join this small-mid sized, yet growing global travel brand where you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of their finance function.

Head of Finance Responsibilities

• Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for a remote team of 2 including a finance assistant and accountant/bookkeeper.
• Overseeing all aspects of financial controlling, budgeting, cashflow forecasting and financial planning.
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial statements and reporting
• Business partnering regional general managers and board directors
• Take a hands on approach with tactical and operational financial management
• Work with legal resources to ensure compliance with global taxation
• Continually streamline processes and financial practice

Head of Finance skills required

• A detailed and methodical person who loves to understand the full business picture through numbers
• Ability to identify any financial anomalies and improve processes or technology so it doesn’t happen again.
• Global awareness; experience with multiple European and US operations would be an advantage
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and analytical skills
• A strategic thinker with the willingness to roll your sleeves up and get hands on in different areas of the finance function.
