This is an exciting time to join this business with a strong vision for growth and delivering a further enhanced customer experience for all its members, multiple stakeholders and important travel trade partners.   This is a pivotal role in the leadership team and will bring some fresh thinking and leadership to the talented marketing team.    As part of the overall strategy of the business which has a clear vision, purpose and culture this newly created role will focus on defining and delivering marketing campaigns to meet these business objectives.  The role requires a marketing professional with a thorough knowledge of the industry, its key players, and the commercial challenges/opportunities faced by its key stakeholders.

• 5-10 years proven marketing experience ideally gained within a busy trading travel environment.
• An industry “heavy-hitter” with a thorough knowledge of the industry – relevant technologies and all distribution channels
• Previous experience of working in a matrix/membership environment would be a significant advantage
• Excellent relationship builder with strong leadership skills to motivate and the team to deliver creative and commercial marketing campaigns on time and within budget
• Highly customer centric with a passion for customer insights and data to support all marketing initiatives
• Experienced in managing external service agencies and foster strong commercial partnerships
• Good presentation skills with ability to influence internally and externally
• Highly commercial and numerate with proven track record of forecasting,  budgeting and delivering timely campaigns within budget
• Can-do attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
• Proactive enthusiastic and a team player
