In this newly created role as Head of Marketing you will be responsible for setting and delivering an innovative marketing strategy through all channels (online /offline). Working closely with the Group Marketing Director you will take responsibility for the continued improvement of the business’s brand reputation and customer experience which will include managing considerable budgets for targeted TV, digital, media campaigns and PR activity. You will have an excellent track record for managing external service agencies to deliver effective and commercial campaigns through all distribution channels.
- Minimum of 5 years gained as Marketing Manager/HOM in a well-known UK travel brand
- Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of leading and mentoring multicultural teams to deliver multiple projects on time and within budget
- Highly organised with strong project management skills
- A passion for customer experience and sound knowledge of customer insights and all relevant tools and technologies
- Highly commercial with a strong reputation for developing strong commercial relationships both internally and externally
- Compelling presentation and influencing skills to create and “sell in” innovative marketing campaigns
- A thorough knowledge of all digital marketing tools and relevant technologies as well as personally being fully computer literate
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Flexibility to work long hours and travel when necessary
- Some flexibility to work from home each week dependent on the requirements of role and the team.
