GCS Recruitment are searching for a Head of Marketing to work with one of the renowned retail companies in Malta.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the company’s global marketing team
• Developing and implementing a global and cohesive marketing plan through strategic planning in line with company’s goals, including tailoring of the strategy and message to resonate with the diverse respective audiences located in different geo locations
• Communicating current and long-term marketing strategies to the marketing and creative teams
• Monitoring all marketing campaigns in each respective country/region and improve them when necessary in line with the set strategy and sales targets
• Designing, reviewing and managing the global Marketing budget, including creative, merchandising, paid advertising, collaborations and Ecommerce
• Building relationships with media and stakeholders through creative PR strategies in the markets in which the company operates
• Forecasting hiring/outsourcing needs for the marketing team
• Conducting market analysis and utilizing own contacts for identifying and acting upon growth opportunities into new geographical markets
• Working hand-in-hand with the Director of Business Development and Head of Operations in preparing the brand for and introducing it to new geographical markets, each time creating and managing solid go-to-market strategies and implementing them for each respective location
• Preparing regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for company’s directors
• Working with, leading and inspiring passionate, talented individuals to help them grow their talents and their contribution within the company

Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in Marketing or relevant field would be preferred
• Previous experience as Head of Marketing or VP Marketing would be ideal
• Proven experience running successful marketing campaigns
• Solid knowledge of web analytics and Google Adwords
• Experience with CRM software
• Creative, ambitious with the ability to think outside of the box
• Leadership skills with the ability to set and prioritize goals
• Analytical with a passion in analysing data and coming up with trends
• Team player
