PR Account Director – Luxury Travel PR Agency – an exciting opportunity for an experienced PR manager to join a dynamic and ambitious travel communications consultancy with a strong company culture, based in Oxfordshire.

PR Account Director Responsibilities

As the PR Account Director, you will be responsible for a combination of Account Handling, Business Management and Development, and Team Management. You will use your Account Handling experience to provide clients with exceptional service, counsel and strategy, ensuring that their business needs are understood, the campaign runs successfully, and all opportunities are seized. You will build, cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with your clients and other stakeholders. Alongside this, you will run your accounts efficiently and profitably, following all appropriate procedures and make regular reports to the MD on matters such as revenue forecasts, risk and opportunities.

In addition to this, your role as a Director means you will lead your team of Account Managers, supporting and guiding them in providing excellent client service and business development. You will embrace the company values, lead through example and motivate junior colleagues. You’ll be the senior client contact across the entire portfolio and act as a deputy for the MD when necessary.

PR Account Director Skills Required

• Proven and significant PR experience and established networks in luxury travel
• Well-versed in media relations and developing strategy, and ability to explain this to the team
• Ability to research and write copy at a high level
• Excellent client relationship management and development
• Managerial experience including coaching and mentoring
• Strong time management skills
• Attentive to detail
