International Sales Manager, River Cruise, Flexible Location, £45-60k (with £80-100k OTE). A fantastic opportunity to take up this newly created role with a unique river cruise product, whose primary responsibility will be to drive their travel trade distribution across the UK, Scandinavia and DACH region. Whilst there is a London based office, for the right individual this could be remote position, although both domestic and international travel will be required at times due to the nature of the role.

International Sales Manager Responsibilities

• Building a healthy pipeline of of distribution opportunities with trade partners which may include travel agencies, consortia, OTA’s, tour operators, MICE and Groups.
• Account manage and grow trade partners once established
• Working closely with the product team to further develop the product offering, for example cruise and beach packages
• Working closely with marketing on how to promote the product to both trade and consumers including consumer events
• Provide guidance and direction to GSA’s in other global markets
• Representing the business at industry events, conferences and exhibitions

International Sales Manager Skills Required

• A highly accomplished B2B sales professional from the travel industry with knowledge of distribution via trade partners
• Highly driven with excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen
• Experience selling in to more than one of the target markets (UK, Scandinavia and DACH) would be a distinct advantage
• Additional languages such as German would be an advantage but only English is mandatory
• A organised self-starter with excellent stakeholder management and team working capabilities

International Sales Manager Salary Details

A basic salary in the region of £45,000 – £60,000 depending on experience with an OTE of £80-100k.
