GCS Recruitment are searching for an IT Audit Assistant to with a leading audit and assurance team in Malta.

Responsibilities include:

• Implement and carry out reports on systems, compliance and security audits of a variety online gambling operators following applicable regulations and international standards.
• Analysing IT systems, company operations and processed based on international standards, best practice and legal
• Acquire an excellent understanding of IT tasks and controls
• Recap regarding previously raised findings
• Analyse statutory and regulatory changes
• Build and sustain good working relationships with client personnel
• Provide clients with advice on risk management and compliance matters
• Establish any issues in order to determine the causes and provide possible solutions
• Multitask in order to take care of a variety of projects, whilst sticking to tight deadlines

Requirements:

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in IT, Business and Computing or Accounting
• Possess or plan to pursue a recognised certification to undertake IT audits (CISA or equivalent)
• Fluency in the English language is necessary
• Good communication skills
• Eager to continue learning IT, IT management and digitalisation
• Capable of identifying and reporting issues
• Good time management as to meet tight deadlines while working under pressure
• Organised and have the ability to multitask
