GCS Recruitment are looking for an IT Audit Senior to work with a leading audit and assurance company here in Malta.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Implement, co-ordinate, execute and report on systems, compliance and security audits of various online businesses in accordance with applicable regulations and technical standards
• Review and assess IT systems, business operations and processes based on international standards and best practices
• Identifying statutory and regulatory changes
• Build and establish effective working relationships with client personnel and meet client and firm deadlines
• Analyse and identify problems in order to determine the causes and propose solutions
• Provide clients with guidance on risk management and compliance matters
• Monitoring team performance and contribute towards their improvement
• Handling several assignments at the same time

Requirements:

• Possess a bachelor’s degree in IT, Business and Computing or accounting or currently pursuing ACCA or equivalent qualification
• Possess a certification to undertake IT audits (CISA or equivalent)
• At least 2 years’ experience in systems auditing will be considered an asset
• Knowledge of COSO, ITIL, COBIT or other internal control frameworks
• Have a keen interest in information security, IT management and digitalisation
• Capable of working within a team, manage multiple engagements and work to demanding deadlines
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Great communication skills; both written and verbal
• Willingness to learn and improve
• Be highly motivated, well presented individual with an eye for detail
• Ability to work and perform under pressure
